JBJ Legal, a new Indianapolis law firm, needed to establish brand awareness and increase public knowledge about the existence of the new law firm, its founders and capabilities. The firm was eager to become known throughout Indiana. That’s where Communications Redefined came in.
We built an extensive strategic communications and media outreach plan to target business, industry, alumni and uber-local media outlets in Indiana. The plan was executed over a three-month period and through storytelling, expert positioning and our long-established media relationships, we were able to exceed the expectations and goals of the PR campaign. Not only did we increase awareness of the new firm and its capabilities, we positioned its founders as experts with the media, which led to print and television interviews on topics where they showcased their expertise and established their credibility.
In the first week after we secured the first news article, JBJ Legal saw a steady flow of website inquiries from potential clients and referrals from other local attorneys, with an average of 50% of those turning into clients. JBJ Legal and its attorneys were featured in more than 25 print articles and television stories about their new firm and expertise during the campaign.
